How it works
From local advertising to a qualified call on your phone
We run the marketing, screen every caller and forward real customers to you. Each call is recorded, transcribed and checked against clear rules, and you pay only for qualified calls from a prepaid balance. Here is every step, in order.
We run local advertising for your trade
We bring in callers through local advertising and marketing channels, set up for your trade and the areas you serve. Each campaign uses its own tracked phone number, so every call can be tied back to your campaign.
- Campaigns are built around the services you offer and the places you work.
- We plan around the hours you can answer the phone.
- Calls are exclusive to your business. We don't send the same caller to competing contractors.
Every call is screened first
Before a call reaches you, it goes through an automated phone menu (IVR). The caller presses 1 to be connected, which stops most robocalls and auto-dialers. A spam filter then blocks known junk numbers.
Calls caught at this stage never ring your phone and are never charged.

Spam filter
Known spam and junk numbers are blocked.
Passed
The call continues to your phone.
Blocked
Never reaches you, never charged.
The caller is connected to your phone
Callers who pass screening hear a short notice that the call may be recorded, and then your phone rings. You answer it the way you answer any customer call. There is no app to install and no number to change.
- Calls go to the phone number you choose.
- The caller is connected live, on the same call. There is no form to follow up on.
- Every call is recorded and transcribed for your portal.

“This call may be recorded.”
Your phone rings
On the number you choose: an office line, a cell or a call center.
You talk to the customer
The conversation is recorded and transcribed for your portal.
AI checks whether the call qualifies
After the call, the recording is transcribed with speakers labelled, and AI checks the conversation against the billing rules. A real person asking about a service you offer is billable. Wrong numbers, job seekers, sales pitches, existing customers, callers outside your area and similar calls are not.
When the AI isn’t confident, the charge is held and a person on our team reviews the call before anything is billed.

Billable
A new customer asking about a service you offer
A real person in need of your type of work, whether or not they book on that call.
Callers who book an appointment
The best outcome: the caller schedules an estimate, visit or job with you.
Callers comparing prices or quotes
Shoppers asking what a job costs are genuine buyers in the market for your service.
Qualified callers who don't book
Including callers who disagree on price, choose another company, or cancel an appointment later. The opportunity was real.
Missed and dropped calls from screened callers
If a screened caller reaches your line and the call goes unanswered or drops, it counts by default. Billing rules are agreed per campaign.
Not billable
Spam and robocalls
Calls caught by our filter are never charged.
Wrong numbers
The caller was trying to reach someone else.
Job seekers
People calling about employment, not service.
Sales pitches and solicitations
Vendors, marketers and other solicitors.
Services you don't provide
Requests outside the services you've told us you offer.
Your existing customers
When the caller says they've worked with you before.
Outside your service area
When the caller states a location you don't serve.
Direct referrals
When the caller says they were referred to you directly.
Repeat callers
Another call from the same number within 30 days of a charged call.
Calls while your campaign is paused
Callers are still forwarded to you, but those calls are not charged.
Disagree with a charge? Request a review from the call page in your portal within 7 days of the call. If the review is accepted, the charge is returned to your balance. Full details are in our Terms of Service.
Billing from a prepaid balance
You keep a prepaid balance in the client portal. Each qualified call is deducted at the per-call price in your quote, and every charge is listed next to the call it came from.
- No retainers and no long-term contract.
- A low-balance alert before you run out.
- If the balance reaches zero, the campaign pauses until you top up, and calls while paused are not charged.
- Another call from the same number within 30 days of a charged call is not billed.
